01 — Engineering Grade Printing
Functional parts, printed for the job.
Engineering grade 3D printing for components that need to do real work — matched to how and where the part will be used.

Overview
What this involves
A functional part starts with understanding its job. We look at the intended load, operating temperature, environment and dimensions before recommending a material and print approach.
From there we print, check and deliver the part to the specification agreed in your quote.
Suitability always depends on the application and the agreed material. We will talk through the trade-offs before anything is printed.
Example applications
- Jigs and fixtures
- Brackets and mounts
- Housings and enclosures
- Cable and hose management
- Replacement components
- Workshop aids
What to send us
- What the part does and where it is used
- Expected load or stress
- Operating temperature and environment (outdoor, chemicals, UV, moisture)
- Approximate dimensions or a file, drawing or sample
- Material preference, if any
- Quantity required
Not sure about some of these? Tell us what you know and we will work through the rest together.

FAQs
Common questions
Do I need a CAD file?
No. A drawing, photo, measurements or the original part is enough to start. If modelling is needed, it is scoped in the quote.
How do you choose the material?
We base the recommendation on load, temperature, environment and appearance. The final material is agreed with you before production.
Can a printed part replace a metal part?
Sometimes, depending on the application. We will discuss whether a printed part is suitable before you commit.
